Like shopping at the Gap? Have an iphone or Touch?

I downloaded the Gap Stylemixer application awhile back but never really did anything with it because I don't have a data plan on my iphone. There is a section on the application called "Offers", and if you go there when you are near a Gap store and have internet access (it didn't come up while I was at home) you'll get a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase, I'm assuming you just show the cashier. Because I don't have a data plan, I went to the Apple Store and used their free Wifi, and saw the coupon. I left the application up and even after my phone went into power save or whatever, when I brought it up again the coupon was still there so it's totally conceivable you could use it that way if you have a touch instead of an iphone. Either way, awesome deal!

The summer adventure pass

On select boxes of Kelloggs cereal this summer, there have been ten dollar vouchers on the boxes good for entry to museums, science centers, and zoos across the country. From what I hear, Gap kids/baby right now is having a BOGO promo - buy one get one FREE on tees and tanks! Some stores are including long sleeved, others aren't so your mileage may vary!

Visa Perks

I'm not really sure how well known this deal is, but a number of merchants participate in Visa Perks - you print off coupons from the Visa Perks website and pay with your Visa card. Examples of participating stores are Lush, Bluenotes, Gap, Old Navy, French Connection, Flight Centre, Kitchen Stuff Plus etc.

You know me, I'm most attracted to the Gap deal, which is 10$ off any purchase minimum 50$. I'm pretty sure you could print the coupon off multiple times and use as many times as you like. It's basically 20% off!

Please read the fine print on each of the offers, I think most of them probably don't allow combining with other deals...

Gymboree update

I'll be out of town this week so there will be no updates, but I wanted to share some info before I go!

Gymboree has some more 20% off coupons in magazines out this month, both Oprah (~5$) and Good Housekeeping (~3$, 2.61 at Costco!) have 20% off coupons!

As well, Circle of Friends starts August 20th and only runs the weekend, until August 23rd. I believe the new fall line that I shared pictures of below should be out too. Baby Sale should start sometime after COF. Bear in mind you can use a coupon with Baby Sale, but not with COF.

Scholars Choice deal

I was in Scholars Choice the other day, I made a small purchase and with my receipt I was given a small reusable coupon for 10 dollars off each purchase of 50 bucks, basically 20% off! I'm also a member, with that I get 10% off all my purchases, combined with this deal is great. The coupon can be used again and again, until September 20th, only in store and only on purchases of goods in stock, not special orders. The membership at SC is inly 10 dollars a year, when you sign up they give you two 5$ gift certificates, so in essence it pays for itself.

Gap Jean Card

The Gap has a new jean promotion, they are giving out frequent buyer cards that you get stamped for every purchase. If you buy four pairs of jeans, get the 5th for free! There is no "free pair must be equal or lesser value" strings attached either, so you could buy cheaper pairs to get your four stamps then get a pricey pair for free. Word is that the 5 for the price of 4 card is for Kids and Baby Gap, and that adults will have a similar promotion but buy 3, get the 4th for free. One person reported however that they didn't get a stamp during G&G, that the sales associate said it only applied to regular priced jeans. If that is the case I'm sunk, I never pay regular price for anything at the Gap. ;)

The sale started July 27, and goes until July 2010!

Edit Aug 7th: the Jean card promotion gas been pulled "temporarily", I don't think it was working out too well hvinf it at the same time as BOGO, as well in the US some customers were given 40% off single item coupons and were using those with the BOGO sale and Jean card. Imagine 5 pairs of Gap kids jeans for about 60 bucks total, regularly retailing 40 bucks a piece. Not really a money making venture...
